Our new 32-bed inpatient facility was opened in April 2010. All rooms are private and feature an expansive picture window, beautiful glass tiles, seating for six, a large memo board and shelves for personal items, and a flat screen cable TV with built-in DVD player. The daytime staffing well exceeds the average at other facilities with one nurse and one nurse aide for every 5 patients.
The facility also houses a chapel where Mass is held weekly.
The in-house chef prepares food tailored to each patient's desire and ability to eat.
Over 400 volunteers provide services including companionship, assistance with meals, respite care, and spiritual support.
Volunteer hosted activities include Caregiver Suppers, High Tea, and Ice Cream Night for patients and their visitors.
Angela Hospice received the Governor’s Quality Care Award in 2000 “Recognizing those who give quality care to Michigan’s most vulnerable residents; going beyond the ordinary to truly enhance the quality of life for the people under their care.”
